It is the event of the year in Gran Canaria. Once just a small gathering, the Pride Walk has grown into a huge celebration in recent years. Like every year, the world famous Maspalomas Winter Pride will take place in 2022 as well, this year from 07.11.2022-13.11.2022. It is the last gay pride celebration in the European calendar year.
The event aims to create an atmosphere of acceptance and freedom. The organization behind Maspalomas Winter Pride, Progay, stands for an ideology of equality and a world without discrimination. The event aims to inspire, open eyes to different perspectives and celebrate diversity. The event includes a week filled with fantastic events. With an average temperature of 23 degrees, enjoy free admission every night at the main stage, the famous Pride Walk or attend one of the premium events. These include the numerous live shows by international artists, pool parties, boat rides, a parade, dancing and much more.
Yumbo Center
Most parts of the program take place at the Yumbo Center, home to 95% of Gran Canaria’s queer bars and clubs. In the center is the Main Stage, where you will be entertained by top acts and DJs for an entire week. The stage area also has its own VIP area on a raised platform, from which you can access your own bar. Mingle with the stars after the performances and have an unforgettable time.
